Instant Pot Pork Tenderloin
When I think of Fall, I think of pork tenderloin with homemade apple sauce and/or pureed butternut. And now that I found out I can cook it in the Instant Pot we are having it weekly!
INSTANT POT PORK TENDERLOIN
6-8 servings
EVOO
Salt & Peper
2 x 1 kg Pork Tenderloins
500 ml Hard Apple Cider*
Trim the silver skin off of the pork tenderloin.
Season the pork tenderloin with salt and pepper.
Brown the pork either in your Instant Pot using the sauté feature, or a heavy bottom pan on your stove. Do not brown both tenderloin at once. Give the meat room in the pan to brown properly.
In the Instant Pot, add the hard cider and the trivet. Place the meat on the trivet.
Close, lock, and seal the lid.
Cook on Manual/High Pressure for 3 minutes, and follow by a natural pressure release (NPR) - about 15 minutes.
Let sit on board for about 5 minutes before slicing on a bias.
*If you don't want to use alcohol you can substitute in chicken broth, apple juice, or (non-alcoholic) apple cider
